The Real Trout Creek

Welcome to "The Real Trout Creek," a website that features people, places and happenings in and around Trout Creek, Michigan. We are a community of 220 people in the middle of a rural Upper Peninsula township (Interior), with four churches, several businesses, solid citizenry and a vibrant, if noisy, political scene.

This website is the project of an informal group of Trout Creek residents who would like you to get an accurate picture of our town, its people and the great things that go on here. On the Calendar of Events page you’ll find a listing of hunting seasons and other reoccurring events. Community Events page is your portal into current activities in the Trout Creek community, while the Library Activities page presents what's going on at the new Trout Creek Library. And we have listings of Churches, Organizations, Businesses, etc.

If you just happened on our site and aren’t familiar with Trout Creek, check out the History page and links. Please send your comments about our website to our webmaster at dlenef@jamadots.com .

New for 2009 (scroll down)

During the past year, this community has changed for several reasons, and there have been fewer events to report.
But The Trout Creek Library continues to sponsor many activities including this website.
My apologies to those who have been disappointed by the lack of updates until now.
