Trout Creek
Library Poetry
and Pie
November 11, 2008
|
Fourteen poetry lovers gathered around a table at the
Trout Creek Library's Poetry Night. From the ancient poet, Rumi to modern poet, Mary Oliver, there was much variety, food for thought and fun. Subjects ranged from dignity, sisters, and summer to dogs, puppies and the far-reaching sky. After the reading session, guests and poets enjoyed Betty Hamilton's homemade pies and coffee. Another Poetry Night is planned for spring. |
