Ladies Who Lunch, August 26, 2005
Next Luncheon September 30 celebrating Fall in the UP!

	Good Morning, Class! Everybody's favorite  teacher instructs us in how to enjoy our day  at the August Ladies Who Lunch, when we  headed "Back to School."
Happy memories of our school days boarded busses that drove us down the street to the Little Old Schoolhouse Restaurant, where  former classmates and our friends and  neighbors meet.	We reviewed our ABCs ...
... so we could read aloud in class ...	... and studied our penmanship ...
... to be sure our writing would pass!	We studied our geography ...
... so our countries we would know ...	... and we talked about far away places,  and where we'd like to go!
Teacher was strict with discipline ...	... so we read with rapt attention ...
... and were so happy to learn so much in school ...	... and bask in Teacher's attention.
We finished all our lunches, and we learned our lessons well. But we were a little saddened by the ringing of the bell, For our school day was over, though we did not make a fuss, But gathered up our pencils and climbed aboard the bus, As we knew that in September, we would gather, one and all, To celebrate the U.P.'s gorgeous, glorious season, fall!
