Trout Creek Library Children's Christmas Party and Open House

Ninety-six year old Mrs. Claus (who sometimes masquerades as Alice Thompson) blessed attendees Saturday, December 13, with her rendition of Silent Night and then presided over the Eleventh Annual Christmas Party for Trout Creek and area children.
The party, as usual a result of the combined talents of Karen Fredrickson and Marianne Brady, then segued into an open house for the new Trout Creek Library under the auspices of the Trout Creek Library Committee.
As one can see, Trout Creek turned out to welcome the Committee at the new (and historic) location at 121 Division Street. The committee announced that hours for the public's use of the Library began Tuesday, December 16 and subsequent times will be Tuesdays, 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
The Writer's Guild will continue to meet at 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., on the first and third Saturdays of each month, and on the same days, the Artists' Guild will meet, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. No registration is required and writers and artists from all surrounding areas are welcome.
Other groups will continue to meet here according to their respective calendars.
