Trout Creek Photo Exhibit, October 11, 2008

The Trout Creek Library presented its third Photography Exhibit at Trinity Lutheran Church.  Over sixty people enjoyed the exhibit which featured both local and out-of-state photographers, some from as far away as California and Texas.  Ken Thompson, San Antonio, submitted black and white photographs taken while living in Kenya, capturing the incredible faces of the indigenous people.  Photographs of storms, baby ducklings, hummingbirds, the ocean, foggy days, people, scenery, a jazz band and incense smoke were among the variety of subjects.  Both digital and 35 millimeter formats were represented.

The keynote speaker was J.P. Suchoski from Hancock.  His presentation covered camera settings.  Mr. Suchowski was invited to return next year as the 2009 keynote speaker.  His presentation will be on composition--what makes a good photo a great one.

If you are interested in photography and/or in being on the mailing list contact Janet Dellaria, event coordinator, at 906-852-3539.
